$19.5 Million Full-Floor Penthouse Sold – Royale Tower, Gold Coast

Royale Gold Coast has once again set a new benchmark for off-the-plan apartment sales in Surfers Paradise, with the $19,568,000 sale of its newly released full-floor penthouse on level 36.
This follows the $19,180,053 sale of the level 35 penthouse in late May, bringing Royale’s total penthouse sales to more than $38 million in just weeks. Together, these mark the two highest off-the-plan apartment sales in Surfers Paradise history.

A Local Buyer Upgrade

The latest transaction, Penthouse 3601, was secured by a local Gold Coast businessman who had initially purchased a half-floor apartment in Royale. Once the full-floor Level 36 penthouse was released, he upgraded, recognising the rare opportunity as the building’s architectural form became more prominent during construction.
TOTAL Property Group Managing Director, Adrian Parsons, said the buyer’s decision reflected the powerful impression Royale is making as an irreplaceable beachfront residence.
“Now that the tower is taking shape, buyers are truly beginning to appreciate the scale, elegance and quality of what’s being delivered,” Mr Parsons said.
“From the north-east orientation and architectural design to the calibre of finishes and world-class amenities, Royale is unlike anything else currently on offer. To achieve nearly $39 million in sales for two penthouses within the space of two months is an extraordinary result.”
He also noted that the buyers are Australian — many local — purchasing to live, not speculate, which he described as “a powerful vote of confidence in both the product and the Gold Coast market.”

The Vision Behind Royale

Royale Gold Coast is being delivered by DD Living, led by property veteran David Devine, with construction by Hutchinson Builders. The tower’s design comes from award-winning architecture firm DKO, with interiors by Mim Design. Completion is scheduled for Q2 2026.
