DAVID DEVINE STARTS ON ROYALE GOLD COAST

Australian Property Journal - 09.08.2022

Hutchinson Builders have officially broken ground on the $400 million Royale Gold Coast residential tower by David Devine’s DD Living.

Demolition at the 2,251sqm Northcliffe Terrace and Markwell Avenue corner site is now wrapped, with the clearing of the original building leaving room for construction to get underway on the new 38-level beachfront strip tower, located between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.

“We are pleased to be working with a construction company of such a high calibre for the delivery of Royale Gold Coast to an exceptional standard,” said Devine.

After launching in November last year, only a select number of the 104 premium two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments are still available at the development, with beach homes, sky homes and penthouses also being delivered.

“We are continuing to see a high level of interest in the remaining available apartments at Royale as more people recognise the unique opportunity to live in a luxurious apartment on absolute beachfront,” said Adrian Parsons, marketing manager for Royale Gold Coast and director of TOTAL Property Group.

With architecture by DKO Architecture and interiors by Mim Design, Royale Gold Coast is offering future residents six-star lifestyle amenities including a café, concierge service, a porte cochere and a beach club on the elevated ground floor with two pools, daybeds and lounges.

This is in addition to the resident wellness centre comprising a steam room, sauna, spa and yoga terrace and the resident’s club with a private executive lounge, bar, private dining room, wine and whiskey lockers and a Cucina Chef’s kitchen.

“The rarity of Royale’s absolute-beachfront, northeast-facing corner site on the elite Northcliffe Terrace inspired my vision to develop the ultimate beachfront apartments and Hutchinson Builders is integral in bringing this to life,” added Devine.

Three-bedroom plus multipurpose room apartments start at $2.975 million, with half-floor lower level beach homes starting at $5.75 million, half-fool penthouses at $6.05 million and full-floor penthouses beginning at $12.6 million.

“With over 110 years of pursuing quality craftsmanship, we have refined industry best practice to ensure the delivery of the highest quality construction on time and within budget,” said Scott Hutchinson, chairman at Hutchinson Builders.

With works now underway, construction on Royale Gold Coast is anticipated for a four quarter 2025 completion.

“We have built some of the most iconic developments in Australia where people live, work and play, and Royale Gold Coast is truly a remarkable building of which we are proud to be involved,” concluded Hutchinson.
